Dr. Sari Kanfer, originally from New York City, graduated from Veterinary School at Colorado State University. She moved to Southern California to practice high quality, advanced exotic pet medicine. She attends frequent conferences to remain on the cutting edge of rabbit, ferret and rodent medicine. Because of her fascination with dental problems, Dr. Kanfer has pursued advanced training in dental techniques and abscess treatments in rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats and other pets such as ferrets, dogs and cats. Dr. Kanfer enjoys seeing a variety of species and also has experience caring for turtles, tortoises, lizards, snakes, amphibians, fish, sugar gliders, prairie dogs, hedgehogs, degus, pot-bellied pigs, goats, alpacas, and wild life such as opossums, birds and squirrels. Dr. Kanfer is Medical Director for Zooh Corner Rabbits Rescue and also donates a large amount of time and expertise to assist Bunny Bunch, Ferrets Anonymous, Cavy Love and Pot Bellied Pig rescue.
