Prayer requests for the owners and pets (Week of 12/20/09)

Cats:
Oliver: Diagnosed with diabetes 7-9-09 (owner, Tracie).
Guinivere: Nadine’s former cat is thriving well as an outdoor creature for the past 4 ½ months at a home in Alhambra. Being an outdoor cat really is her true self, instead of adapting to the indoor world of a human. She has a home backyard and is surviving/thriving. Pray that she continues to do well.
Tiger,Pearl,Jazzy, Meowie,Tinker & Blackie: These are all cats that Priscilla is trying to find homes for. Keep them in your prayers that owners may be found and they all find wonderful homes. Also Thanksgiving for Priscilla’s amazing efforts to save and love these cats as she tries to find them homes.
Moxie: A beloved family member of Deda’s that is recovering from a removal of a cancerous tumor. Moxie is 12 years old.
Dogs:
Oso and Mousha : Both are Akitas. Owners are Priscilla’s son and grandson. Oso is 8 yrs old and has an auto-immune disease. Mousha was rescued from an abusive situation, and very fearful, and only let’s Priscilla’s son/grandson approach, care and pet. All need prayer.
Angel : A beloved family member of Karen and her family, that died recently.
Bixby: A dear pet and family member was recently diagnosed with lung cancer (Carrie and family)
Isla: Isla is having trouble with her hips due to aging (Owner Carrie and family).
Sebastian: Age and bad hips (Angie)
Max: Prayer for Max’s spirit, and his owners. They had to euthanize him (Erin).
Phoebie: Infirmed and owners are facing the decision as to what is best for her. (Family that was visiting from Big Bear)
Kira :Bladder and kidney stones; now has 2 lumps found to be cancerous; she is under initial medical treatment (steroid treatment) and feeling relatively comfortable. (Rose and family).
Sunny :An older pet to a friend of Elizabeth and David’s that was recently diagnosed with diabetes. There are frequent vet visits and the cost of care is overwhelming the loving owners. Please have Sunny and her owner’s in your prayers.
Rabbits:
Alice: The new companion St. Luke’s church bunny to Shadow. Has become very aggressive and is making life miserable for Shadow. Fr. Gary is doing all he can do to make their lives, and his calm.
